About your heart
At best, regular monitoring of heart rhythms can prevent a stroke. Here you will find more information about arrhythmias and strokes.

Arrhythmia
Many of us experience different symptoms of arrhythmia – it can feel like the heart is fluttering, vibrating or jumping, or as if it is skipping beats.
Atrial fibrillation
Atrial fibrillation is the most common long-lasting arrhythmia. The causes and symptoms of it vary greatly. Atrial fibrillation is associated with the risk of serious complications, of which the most severe is a stroke.

Stroke
In a stroke, a blocked cerebral artery causes the brain tissue to be deprived of blood and oxygen. As a result, some of the brain tissue becomes necrotic, and a stroke occurs.
